If a snail of radius 3 cm3~\mbox{cm} is attached to the ground in a 3 m3~\mbox{m} deep sea, what is the magnitude of the vertical force in N with which the water presses on it?

  • There's a clever (and easier) way to do this, and there's a hard way.
