A cylinder contains \(2.0\) L of gas under the pressure of \(1.0\) atm. The external pressure is also \(1.0\) atm. Now, the gas is heated slowly with the cylinder's piston sliding freely outward to maintain the pressure of the gas close to \(1.0\) atm. Suppose that the heating continues until a final volume of \(5.0\) L is reached. Calculate the work done on the gas.
