Start with the number that represents the least amount and finish with the number that represents the greatest amount. Each number should be greater than the one immediately before it.
What is a good ordering strategy?
Find the smallest number first and place it in the first box. Then repeat with the numbers that remain. This is usually easier than trying to arrange the whole group in one mental step.
Why does the quiz start with only two numbers?
Two-number problems isolate the core comparison. Once that decision feels secure, adding a third and fourth number requires the same idea several times without abruptly increasing the difficulty.
