Constructing a Line Bisector

A bisector is anything which divides the value (or the figure) into two equal parts. Therefore, a line bisector is a line that intersects the line to be bisected, through its midpoint, or, divides the line into two equal parts.
To construct a line bisector for line AB, follow the following steps:-
Draw a line AB.
Draw a circle with center A and radius AB.
Draw a circle with center B and radius AB.
Draw a line between the two points of intersection of the circles and name it CD.
Thus CD is the bisector of AB.
