Yes! Teachers in the Brilliant for Educators program have access to a classroom dashboard that shows detailed student progress and activity.
What you can see
The teacher dashboard shows:
- Time spent by students actively learning on Brilliant
- Lesson completion status for each student (started, in progress, or completed)
- Total lessons completed by each student
This helps you understand how students are engaging with assigned content and identify who might benefit from additional support or challenge.
How the dashboard works
For each classroom you create, you can:
- View a student roster with activity summaries
- See individual student progress on specific courses and lessons
- Monitor completion rates to track assignment follow-through
- Identify patterns in student engagement and learning
The dashboard updates every 24 hours, to show students' daily progress as they work through lessons.
Sharing and tracking content
You can use Brilliant in two ways:
- Share specific lessons and track completion of those assignments.
- Let students explore freely and view what they choose to learn
Both approaches give you visibility into student activity, but sharing and tracking progress for specific lessons may help you align Brilliant with your curriculum. To see all available courses and lessons, browse our complete course catalog.
Privacy and data
Student progress data is visible only to:
- The teacher who created the classroom
- The student viewing their own progress
Brilliant complies with COPPA, FERPA, and GDPR. We do not sell student data or use it for marketing purposes.
