This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

• Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
• Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
• Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.

@Mahdi Raza, sorry for the nuisance, but just wanted to let you see this, for the buttons mostly :)

Nice, how do you make them? Very interesting!

- 2 months, 1 week ago

Yes @Mahdi Raza and @Frisk Dreemurr, they only work for notes and wikis, not problems and comments.(I tried)

I made a note on it too, you can check it :)

- 2 months, 1 week ago

Can you use them on solutions @Percy Jackson?

- 2 months, 1 week ago

No, I've tried that too :) @Frisk Dreemurr

- 2 months, 1 week ago

Yes, I know, I just tried, and failed :)

- 2 months, 1 week ago

Click on the last button @Mahdi Raza, the $\LaTeX$ guide

Discovery by @Percy Jackson and me myself :) "plus the wiki formatting guide"

I think they only work for notes, but I am not so sure...

- 2 months, 1 week ago

Actually, it's a double trick, try clicking the button, then try clicking the text

:D

wow a link inside the message never saw thatone coming

- 2 months, 1 week ago

Good one @Frisk Dreemurr, I anticipated white text or something like "You got fooled", not hidden links :)

@Brilliant Mathematics, I think I have a problem here... The note is uneditable now

Maybe because of the error I made in the $\LaTeX$

- 2 months, 1 week ago

@Percy Jackson, errors in $\LaTeX$ are quite harmful, I learnt it the hard way :)

- 2 months, 1 week ago

Yup, me too :|

- 2 months, 1 week ago

Hi, Frisk. I've fixed it for you.
