# Can I ask some help for my upcoming competition?

I have a contest this coming October 12, the Philippine Mathematical Olympiad. My teacher said that there is no specific principle of Mathematics in solving the Olympiad problems, so we are going to use our general knowledge in Math. Can you help me? What are some principles of Mathematics that are commonly use in an Olympiad-competition?
