# Does time really exist?

Time is a very poorly understood concept in physics. well in formal textbooks the definition time really does not satisfy me! i really doubt that time exist, because with time or without time matter behaves the way it does, yet time is still a fundamental quantity. I strongly believe that time is a matter of perception. Newton said time is like a ARROW it moves in one direction but HOLD ON here comes Einstein and says time is like a RIVER it bends and meanders through the entire universe. well i DONT KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE!!!

As we now know there are four fundamental forces in nature, but why isn't time one of them if it really did shape the universe , what it is today??
