Gravitation

We all know that the gravitational field inside a thin spherical shell is zero. There are different methods to prove this. I came across one such odd yet amazing method . I would like everyone to try proving it by this method .I will put my proof in a couple of days.

Zero force inside a sphere.

Show that the gravitational force inside a spherical shell is zero by showing
that the pieces of mass at the ends of the thin cones in the figure give
canceling forces at point P (any point inside the sphere).

The tougher task is doing the same thing for an ellipsoid. I am trying to prove that! Might take a couple of days.

Ellipsoid will be having the same proof. There'll be a change in diagram. Rest all will be the same thing.
