I'm now facing a really tough time with trigonometry.I just feel so lost whenever I look at a trigonometry problem.I don't know how to attack the question and which formulas to apply, any help would be appreciated.

The same happened with me when I started trying to solve tough trigonometry problems in the summer vacations after passing my eighth grade (I can bet that I felt more lost in trigonometry problems than you). But then I bought SL Loney's Plane trigonometry. I started from the first chapter and things started becoming so clear, and after 3-4 months of hard work on that book, now trigonometry is one of my most favourite topics in geometry. I have quite much mastered that topic. This book is a classic, is excellent for JEE preparation, and even better if you are reading it for some knowledge and self-satisfaction. Believe me, buy it, and you will start to realize the beauty of trigonometry.
