Interview Questions #KVPY

This note has been used to help create the KVPY Exam Preparation wiki

Hello everybody!

I've qualified KVPY Stage-1 and it's stage-2 i.e interview round is on 2nd Feb. I just needed some help from you guys regarding what type of questions may be asked from subjects- Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics.

Please share some interesting and brainy questions with/without answers below the subject heads in the comments section !

Example: What happens to the time period of a simple pendulum when a small hole is made at the bottom of the bob filled with water?

Answer: Center Of Gravity shift down due to the leak and thus the effective length increases. Thus, the time period first increases and then goes back to its initial value.

PS: Questions regarding deep understanding of topics are most welcome!

Thanks!
