# Level Up / Level Down

This week I was leveled down to level 3 in geometry in combinatorics because I started doing some geo/comb problems last week and got too busy to complete them. I don't know your algorithm on leveling up/down, but can you make it so if you're leveled down, you should have 1 week to prove yourself and be leveled back up? Thanks.

That is indeed how our system is acting. Each level up/down change is based on 2 weeks of data, so that it is not too volatile / dependent on the amount of free time you had for that week.

Looking through your attempts, 2 weeks ago, you answered 2 questions correctly and 5 wrongly. You were given 1 week to 'redeem' yourself. but did too few problems last week (2 correct, 1 wrong). Your total over 2 weeks was 4 correct, 6 wrong, 6 unanswered, which resulted in the level down.

If you continue to do well next week, you will be leveled up.

You're leveled down when you answer some questions wrong and none or one right. Having not enough time should not be a reason to level down. :)
