I also felt the same when I started learning trigonometry (though I feel uneasy now also), like

1. Why didn't you take that $$sin$$ common?

2. Why don't you cancel the $$60$$ from $$\frac{sin 60}{cos 60}$$ ?

3. $$sin 30=0.5$$, so you mean $$sin=\frac{1}{60}$$ ?
