The Inclusion - Exclusion Principle

Let \( a,b,...,k,l \) be non-negative numbers. Prove that : \[ max(a,b,...,k,l) = a + b + .... + k + l - min(a,b) - .... - min(k,l) + .... \pm min(a,b,...,k,l) \]
