Can teachers and students get Brilliant for free?

Yes! K-12 teachers and their students may qualify for free Brilliant Premium through our Brilliant for Educators program—a grant-funded initiative that provides unlimited access to all Brilliant content for classroom use.

What is Brilliant for Educators?

Brilliant for Educators is a free program designed specifically for K-12 schools. It gives teachers and their students full Premium access to Brilliant's interactive courses in Math, Data, Computer Science, and Science—at no cost.

Who is eligible?

Brilliant for Educators provides free access to Brilliant for individual K–12 teachers working directly with students in underserved school communities.

  • We currently prioritize classroom teachers at accredited K–12 schools.
  • Applicants should apply using an official school-issued email address and include a link to their school or district website.

If you are a principal, administrator, or district leader interested in bringing Brilliant to your school or district, please contact us to learn more about program options.

At this time, the program is generally not intended for homeschools, private tutors or tutoring centers, colleges or universities, or programs serving adult learners. For other options, see Does Brilliant offer plans for groups?

Final eligibility is determined through application review based on program priorities.

*Brilliant for Educators includes access to Brilliant for classroom use. Some features or school-focused offerings may be available only through separate school or district plans.
