- The administrator is the person who purchases the plan and counts as one of the seats.

- Members can be added or removed at any time from [Group settings](/settings/groups/); removing a member frees up a seat.

- The Family Plan is fixed at 6 seats. If every seat is full, remove a member to free one up before adding someone new.

## Adding a younger learner

Younger learners don't need their own email address to join your Family Plan. From [Group settings](/settings/groups/), add a child account with their name, age, and a username (an email address works too, but isn't required).

If the child is under the age required by children's privacy law (COPPA, generally under 13), you'll be asked to confirm that you're their parent or legal guardian and consent to the collection and use of their data before the account is created.
