The Brilliant Family Plan is designed for households and small groups, with a fixed price for up to 6 seats.

Just one parent and one child?
Brilliant also offers a 1-seat family plan for parents and homeschool families who only need one additional seat — it's priced the same as an individual Premium plan but includes the parent progress dashboard and other family features. This option appears for users who've indicated during sign-up that they're a parent or homeschool family. If that's you and you still don't see it, contact support@brilliant.org and our team can help you get set up.
Getting Started

Visit brilliant.org/subscribe and choose the Family Plan.

After you purchase, open Group settings to invite members by email (new or existing users without an active Premium subscription).

Add or remove members anytime from Group settings.
Member Management

The administrator is the person who purchases the plan and counts as one of the seats.

Administrators manage billing and subscription settings.

Members can be added or removed at any time from Group settings; removing a member frees up a seat.

The Family Plan is fixed at 6 seats. If every seat is full, remove a member to free one up before adding someone new.
Adding a younger learner
Younger learners don't need their own email address to join your Family Plan. From Group settings, add a child account with their name, age, and a username (an email address works too, but isn't required).
If the child is under the age required by children's privacy law (COPPA, generally under 13), you'll be asked to confirm that you're their parent or legal guardian and consent to the collection and use of their data before the account is created.
You can also convert an existing family member's account into a supervised child account — see linking a learner to your progress dashboard.
