XP (experience points) measures your learning activity on Brilliant. You earn XP by completing lessons and solving problems.
XP and Leagues
Your weekly XP determines your standing in Leagues—Brilliant's friendly competition where you compete against other learners for the most XP each week.
Each week, your weekly XP resets to zero. You join a new league group when you first earn XP that week, not automatically at the reset. The learners with the most XP in your group advance to higher leagues, while those with the least XP move down.
How you earn XP
You gain XP through learning activities:
- Completing lessons
- Solving problems
- Engaging with course content
The amount of XP you earn corresponds to the time and effort required.
Redoing a lesson on a later day can earn XP again. Repeating the same lesson on the same day does not earn additional XP.
Viewing your XP
You can see your weekly XP total in the Leagues section on your Brilliant home page.
