## How do I link a learner to my account?

Linking works by adding the learner to your Family Plan, then marking their account as supervised:

1. From [Group settings](/settings/groups/), select the family member's account.
2. Select **Make this a child account**.

This doesn't create a new account or move any progress — the learner keeps their existing account, course history, progress, login, and Family Plan seat. It creates a supervision link between your account and theirs, so you can see them in your dashboard; they won't see pricing or checkout prompts while supervised.

What happens next depends on the learner's age:

- **Under 18:** Supervision becomes active right away (parental-consent requirements for children under 13 still apply).
- **18 or older:** The request stays pending until that person accepts it themselves.
